Barnabas
The other day, while trudging to the mailbox, lost in thought, stomping through the snowy grass to clean some of the caked mud and muck off of my boots, clenching and unclenching my hands as they finally started to warm up in my work gloves, with the lambs’ empty bottles in one pocket, a utility knife and twine in another, dog treats in a third, and bits of hay and straw in all of them, one of the roosters crowed loudly and I stopped, looked up, surveyed the beauty around me, breathed in the icy fresh air, and smiled. I have more than I need and all that I want.
I love this life.

So true! We are so blessed
Love ya!
